COVID-19 – Remote monitoring of viral respiratory conditions

By February 28, 2020May 1st, 2021No Comments

patientMpower’s has launched a new solution for remote monitoring of viral respiratory conditions such as COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 or the coronoavirus).

patientMpower’s award winning solutions are deployed in a range of pulmonary conditions (e.g. pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, Lung Transplant), and our COVID-19 remote monitoring solution utilises the same modules and technology as our existing solutions.

Our mobile based application enables patients to record symptoms (e.g. breathlessness) and objective data (e.g. spirometry, oxygen saturation, temperature), with data shared in real time with treatment centres.

Our customers include NYU Langone lung transplant centre in New York, which has reduced in-clinic visits by 67% and reduces the risk of acquired infections in these immunocompromised patients (See recent US TV Story featuring our technology).

Due to the technological nature of our solution, a remote monitoring solution for COVID-19 could be operational within days. For more information, please contact covid19@patientmpower.com.
