New board members bring a new level of respiratory and financial expertise to the company.

3 August, 2021, Dublin – patientMpower announced today the appointment of two new members to the board of directors.

New board members Kay Boycott and Frank Byrne have extensive experience in digital and healthcare spaces. Boycott has substantial Non-Executive experience including current roles as a Non-Executive Director of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Private Healthcare Information Network and Durham University. Following an international commercial career, Boycott was Chief Executive for Asthma UK for over six years, leading them through a successful merger with the British Lung Foundation. Boycott has also served as a member of the King’s Fund General Advisory Council and NHS Net Zero Expert Panel, as a Board member for the Association of Medical Research Charities and has co-authored publications on digital health. Byrne brings extensive financial experience from his many years as a Chartered Accountant, he currently works as Chartered Director and Partner at Olympia Capital, with previous specialised experience in Healthcare working as CFO for St Patricks Mental Health Services for nearly ten years, and previously as CFO for the Beacon Medical Group.
